AI Jumpstart for HR Professionals & Business Leaders

This 3-credit HRCI approved activity provides a structured, hands-on introduction to generative AI and its real-world use in HR and business leadership. Participants will learn how large language models work, how to confidently navigate tools such as ChatGPT, and how to apply prompting frameworks to produce accurate, relevant, and high-quality outputs.

The course goes beyond theory. You will actively practice:

• Writing structured AI prompts using frameworks such as CLEAR, RTF, CRAFT, RACE, RISEN, and RODES

• Applying zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, tree-of-thought, negative prompting, and prompt chaining techniques

• Using AI to draft policies, improve performance documentation, design coaching programs, analyze turnover trends, and strengthen communication

• Identifying AI risks including bias, hallucinations, privacy concerns, and compliance exposure
